I understand that the deep type is the so-called boot type, but I use the slim type. The slim type of Takara Standard installed in my new house has a filter attached to the inside of the air guide plate. It says that simple maintenance is as simple as cleaning the air guide plate every month (it's not an automatic cleaning type), but when I checked after two months, not only the filter but also the Sirocco fan was covered in oil, probably because I fry a lot. I tried moving it after attaching this, and I think the suction power is fine and it didn't shift, so I'd like to think about how often to replace it while checking the level of dirt. As it's not written in the instructions for use, it's up to you to use it at your own risk, but I think it's fine when you think about the position of the filter and the purpose of use. There aren't many slim-type filters, but it's reassuring when they say they're compatible...
