I've been using a commercial iron frying pan for over 20 years, but the 26cm size and 1.2kg weight have become a bit of a strain, so I tried this frying pan, and despite the 1.5mm thickness of the base, it's only 910g in actual measurement, and the octagonal handle is easy to hold, so I like it. Unlike the varnish coating commonly used on woks, the silicone coating does not require pre-baking, which I think makes it suitable for use in ordinary households. I use a gas stove for professional use, but I have had no problems using it without pre-baking. I also like the fact that the diameter of the bottom is 20cm, which is very wide for a 26cm-sized frying pan. I'm happy because I've been able to make things I usually make in a wok, such as fried cabbage, fried tomatoes and eggs, fried noodles, and fried pork and beans, without any problems and they've all turned out delicious. Unlike a wok, the flat base means it's very stable, which is also a good point. I was also surprised to find that I could get it for just 1490 yen. P.S. I went to the store before the web order arrived, and as there was stock in the store, I cancelled the web order. Thank you for your trouble.
