The lid does not shut fully. There is a quarter inch gap between the lid and the pail. Also, there is a small scratch on the lid body.

After reading the reviews, I thought it looked good, so I bought one to try out first. After washing it, the edges started to fray, so I decided not to buy any more.

The red bowl is cute, and the inside is white. I've been using it for a few months to soak food in broth, and even after leaving it for a while, there are no stains on the white, so it looks like I can use it for a long time.
