I use it in the bathroom. The fabric is thin, so I was a little worried, but it's very useful because it doesn't show through when I check from outside at night. I was looking for a tension rod to attach here, but the extra-thick tension pole sold at Nitori can be used. It might be a little on the small side for opening and closing. The size of the curtain holes is not written, so check with a store clerk when purchasing.

I was bothered by sunlight and heat coming through from the kitchen, so I found and bought these cafe curtains that block out light and heat. They are also water-resistant, so you don't have to worry about water splashes. I think they also keep the temperature down quite well, so I recommend them.

I was having trouble finding cafe curtains with a lace pattern, as all the ones in the shops were mainly plain. I found these on the Nitori website, as I wanted to block the wind coming in from the bay window. They're neat and tidy, just as I hoped. They're thin, but they're functional.
