LIGHT CYPRESS CUTTING BOARD 39X24

The scent of Japanese cypress is very good. The blade is soft, and the sound of the knife hitting the board is light.

The edges are slanted, so I'm a little worried about it wobbling when I store it upright. After watching a program where they said that using plastic cutting boards was a little scary (they wanted to see microplastics in the blood vessels of dead people, etc.), I was looking for something that wasn't made of plastic, so I'm satisfied.

I love the scent of Japanese cypress!

It's light and easy to hold, and it smells nice. The fact that the edges are cut at an angle makes it easy to pick up, and it's a great product. However, I didn't expect that the sound of cutting would be so loud and echoing, probably because the kitchen in my house has a stainless steel worktop, and also because Japanese cypress is harder than paulownia wood. In the end, when cutting hard things, I use a paulownia cutting board and a dishcloth underneath this cutting board. I thought that if the worktop was made of artificial marble, it would be hard and the sound wouldn't echo so much.

I was using a plastic cutting board, but I didn't like the sound it made when I cut things, so I was looking for a wooden cutting board, but I couldn't find one that was dishwasher safe... I was searching online for a while, and then I found it! I went to the store and bought it right away. It's easy to use and dishwasher safe, so I'm very satisfied! The scent of the hinoki cypress is also very soothing.
