The water-repellent coating is amazing. The rice doesn't stick to it, so it's easy to eat, and there's no sticking, so it's also really easy to wash.

I bought this for myself. I found a rice bowl that was light, unbreakable, didn't get any rice stuck to it at all, and was easy to wash.
