It's cheap, so there's no reclining function, but maybe that's the design to make up for that. If you lean back to relax, your lower back will start to hurt after a few minutes. This is because the backrest is at a steep angle, causing your lower back to lift up. Also, your abdominal muscles will involuntarily tense up, so you won't be able to relax. If you position the attached support above your waist to correct your posture, the surface you are sitting on will only support your body at two points: the curved surface of your lower back and the support. It will start to hurt after less than 10 minutes. The seat may be worth the price. It does hurt, but because of the above, I change my posture a lot, so I don't really mind. Anyway, the angle of the backrest is strange. Please try sitting on it with your back flat against it for even just 5 minutes.

I was looking for one without armrests so that it would be easier to get in and out of. It was easy to assemble, and the lift mechanism, which I was worried about because it was cheap, has been working fine for a while now. I feel that the attached lumbar support is almost useless, but it's fine because I can buy one separately. The seat cushion is soft and will definitely go flat quickly, but this is also no problem as you can buy a separate cushion like a zabuton.
