It's just the right size for bowls and ramen, and it's been very useful. Actually, I bought two bowls of the same size made of bone china at a store, and because they were so good, I thought I'd buy two more online, but I made a mistake and bought this product instead. This one is a little thicker and heavier, but it's almost exactly the same, so I'll just have to live with it. It's cute and I like it.
