It was used for a breakfast set at a popular bakery in a tourist destination. The croque-monsieur was served on it, and I thought it would be cute on a turquoise blue plate or a curry plate or a salad plate, so I asked the shop staff where it was from. They kindly told me that they had bought it all from Nitori when they opened three years ago, so I searched online and bought it. I thought it might be too big for the dining table, but when I used it, it was very convenient and the size was perfect for serving breakfast bread. I also found that it matched everything without feeling out of place, even when serving Taiwanese-style fried noodles. It's a plate that seems to have many uses.
