The fabric is thin and light, but it still blocks out the sun. In this time of year when it's going to get even hotter, it's a must-have. What's more, (this is important) it doesn't smell bad either. I want to buy some more. I also think they should make it in more colors.

I was looking for a light-blocking cafe curtain, and I found this at Nitori. The hem has a stylish design, so I was relieved to find that I could use it without any sense of incongruity even when combined with the embroidered curtains I already had.

I bought this because the window (in the kitchen) facing the hallway of my apartment block is relatively large, and I was worried about people being able to see in and out. I wonder if there weren't any curtains that were 90cm long before? When I took off the cafe curtains I had installed, they were from Nitori. I was using two curtains of different lengths, but from now on I only need one (*^^*) As the width is just about right, light from inside the room leaks through the holes where the tension rod is inserted, so I think if I add another curtain, I'll be able to get a proper drape? and the light won't leak out. As it is now, I'm satisfied with the way it looks with just one curtain. As there are many lace types, I'm really grateful for the light-blocking curtains.
