I use it when I'm deep-frying. It doesn't splash around, so it's easy to clean. With pans that have removable handles, the handle gets in the way and creates a gap. Also, I was worried that the handle would get hot.

I bought this to catch the oil splashes when deep-frying tempura and fried chicken. It also comes in handy for other things too, such as catching the oil splashes when frying in a frying pan, fried eggs, meat sauce, etc. I'm glad I bought it.

I was wondering if I would use it even if I bought it, since we don't deep-fry very often at home, but I decided to take the plunge and buy it when it was on sale. As a result, I use it quite often! It's great for when you want to cook things like grilled fish, sauteed vegetables, or fried eggs slowly, as you can just put it on top and leave it. I also use it like a shield when I'm frying things. The oil splatter is also much less of a problem, and it's easy to clean. I was torn between the straight handle and the one that can be propped up, but I chose this one because it can be propped up and it doesn't seem to take up much storage space.

I'm scared of oil splashes, so I use it to cover the frying pan, or as a shield to protect my hands when I'm turning over the chicken wings I'm frying. It's also useful for cooking things like meat sauce. I like the fact that it can be stood up. It's a shame that the handle gets so hot that you can't hold it with your bare hands, so you have to use a dish towel or something to hold it, but apart from that, I'm really satisfied with it and I'm glad I bought it.

Because the oil doesn't splash, it's easier to clean the area around the stove! Also, because it can be stood up, the dirt doesn't spread! However, if the size isn't just right, it can burn depending on the heat, so I've given it four stars.
