They're light and dishwasher-safe, which is a big help!

I bought them because I liked the color and size, and thought they would look stylish if I served curry or pasta on them. They are good, but after eating, I put them in the sink with other dishes and pots, and fill the sink with water to wash them tomorrow... but when I look in the morning, they have broken due to the weight... it's true that they are a bit rough... but plates from other manufacturers don't break like that. I washed and handled the Calecle plates with care even though it was a hassle because they were the only ones that broke. But I ended up giving up after buying them three times when they broke. I've now changed to a more durable plate...Incidentally, the Calecle bowls also developed cracks after half a year...I wrote a review about them before, but it didn't get posted, so I'm trying to see if it will remain with 5 stars.

I bought three of these plates because I liked the color and wanted to use them with my family. I'm the one who puts the dishes in the sink to wash, but I think I put too much weight on top of them, because they broke twice in the sink... I bought more each time, but I think I've had enough... The bowls I bought at Nitori also broke after a short time. The bowls and plates I bought at Muji and the DIY store didn't break, so light plates weren't suitable for our home.

I think it's a color that goes well with any kind of food, whether Japanese, Western or Chinese. In my house, we use it to serve oden, pasta, curry, sweet and sour pork, etc., and it makes our usual dishes look like they've been cooked by a really good cook. It's very light, so washing up is easy, and it's a great success of a plate to buy♪
